Summary
The purpose of this study is to develop and evaluate by means of simulation of a new real-time control strategy for sewer networks with emphasis on special needs and potential applications in Greece. The new strategy is expected to improve significantly the efficient strategies developed by the Dynamic Systems and Simulation Laboratory in the past. The new strategy uses a generic, simple, and powerful problem formulation in the format of a discrete-time optimal control problem.
