Summary
The WWT & SYSENG project has both research and training objectives. The research area of the WWT&SYSENG network is about developing the understanding and tools to control wastewater treatment processes and manage wastewater discharge into the environment. The WWT&SYSENG network comprises leading scientists and Institutions from Sweden, Denmark, Spain, Italy, Greece and the United Kingdom. This multi-disciplinary team has constructed a research and training programme to pursue the modelling, simulation and control issues needed to understand large-scale wastewater systems and their effect on the environment.
