Curriculum Vitae

I was born in Athens, Greece, in 1976. I graduated from the high school at 1994 at Pireus (Zanneio High School of Pireus). I have completed five years of studies at the Technical University of Crete (T.U.C.) and received my undergraduate degree from the department of Production Engineering & Management (Rating: Very Good). For the last two years I have been enrolled in a postgraduate program of studies. I will be receiving a Masters Degree in Engineering Management (Rating: Excellent) in August 2001. Both my undergraduate and postgraduate studies were funded by several scholarships. The majority of my work is in the area of Artificial Life, especially in the areas of Evolutionary Computation, Genetic Algorithms and Artificial Neural Networks. From 1998 to date, I have worked at DSSL as associate researcher in the aforementioned areas and as supervisor of Dynamic Programming lab assignments for undergraduate students in the Department of Production Engineering & Management at T.U.C.
